Your cup of cocoa before bed

The Restorative Effects of Cocoa

When we think about natural remedies, the first thing that comes to mind is our mothers' herbal teas; But another remedy with many benefits and also an enriching flavor is cocoa. This not only gives us a comforting feeling but also contains restorative properties for our body; magnesium and tryptophan. Magnesium is a mineral that helps reduce stress and anxiety. It is a natural relaxant that deactivates adrenaline. On the other hand, tryptophan is an amino acid that once ingested is converted into serotonin and then converted into the hormone melatonin. This combination makes it the ideal drink before bed.
